custom order faq

for custom orders, we recommend booking with us as soon as you know what date you would like. even if its not until the following year, we book up quickly and we encourage planning ahead!

we are unfortunately unable to take on custom orders with under two weeks notice.

for dessert items from sugar, please place your order in advance of 3 business days of your pick up date. we are unable to accept orders with less than 3 business days notice.

for custom cookies and cupcakes, our minimum order quantity is two dozen.

when you have a confirmed date booked with us for a custom order, we will ask how many people you need to feed. we will provide you with a flavour list of selections for our cakes and cupcakes.
we also love to see what kind of ideas you have for your theme, please send us your inspirational images.

custom order pick up dates are:

thursday and friday from 11am-5pm or saturday 11am-3pm.

please check your emails for when you originally booked your day with us as this is your pick up day.
if you can, please let us know an approximate time you will arrive so we can have everything set to go for you!

we have beautiful, classic wedding cakes for ordering on our wedding page. your choice of buttercream or fondant cakes, size, flavour, and some design elements. 

if a more custom cake and the full wedding experience is what you are looking for, we now offer a custom wedding experience package. this package includes your choice of cake, cupcakes, and/or cookies along with a one on one meeting with Jeannette, a taste testing, visual mock up of your cake, as well as delivery and set up within SSM city limits.
